Client Understanding & Consent

I understand that massage therapy is intended to support relaxation, stress reduction, relief of muscular tension or spasm, improved circulation, and overall wellbeing. I acknowledge that massage therapy is a complementary therapeutic practice and is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment.

I understand that my therapist does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication, or perform spinal manipulations. For any medical concerns, I am encouraged to consult a qualified healthcare professional.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for communicating my needs, preferences, and comfort levels throughout the session. I will inform my therapist immediately if I experience any discomfort or pain. Adjustments to pressure, temperature, music, or areas of focus can be made at any time to support my comfort and wellbeing.

I understand that mild tenderness or sensitivity may occasionally occur during or after treatment as the body responds to therapeutic work. My therapist will always work within safe, respectful, and comfortable limits.

I agree to inform my therapist of any changes in my health, medical conditions, or symptoms before or during the session to ensure care is appropriate and safe.

I understand that my therapist will always respect my personal boundaries and will not work on any area I have indicated as off-limits.

All treatments are provided in a strictly professional and therapeutic manner. Any inappropriate behaviour or comments will result in the immediate termination of the session. The full treatment fee will apply, and future bookings will not be accepted.
